Hot on the heels of that SNES CD-ROM controller prototype we showed you earlier this month, another eBay auction has popped up for an M2 prototype controller.
The M2 was 3DO’s abandoned successor to its eponymous console. Its controller would have looked quite a bit like the original 3DO’s except with a removable joystick attachment and three more buttons for Street Fighter II.
Interested in owning a piece of unreleased controller history? Uh… apparently not, because if you were, you’d have snapped up that $3000 SNES CD-ROM controller. This one is a bit more affordable at about $1850, although the seller is in Germany.
