It’s October 18, 2010, which means one thing: The Nintendo Entertainment System turns 25 today.
Nintendo launched the American version of the console into an extremely difficult U.S. market on October 18, 1985. I’ve got a piece up today on the Day In Tech blog all about the New York City test-market launch.
Of course, it’ll be a few years before the more important anniversary: Easter morning of 1988, when I got an NES.
