In a move which should surprise absolutely no one, the debut of MSX games on Virtual Console has been pushed back. Again.
Nintendo announced way back in February 2007 that games from the retro Japanese personal computer line would be available on its retro game download service. The two launch titles — Eggy and* Aleste* (above) — were added to the official release list. And then they were delayed. And delayed.
Finally, they ended up with a release date of May 2008. But the final week of May is next week, and the game releases that are scheduled are* Ganbare Goemon 2*, Fire Pro Wrestling 2nd Bout, and Ninja Combat.
Expect some kind of official apology and another fake release date soon.
