Nintendo will print more copies of Super Mario All-Stars for Wii on March 13, Wired.com has learned. The company will announce the news in a release on Tuesday.
Wired.com reported in January that the company was mulling a new shipment of the limited-edition package after it flew off shelves in December.
Super Mario All-Stars is a Wii version of the classic 1993 Super Nintendo release, which consisted of upgraded versions of the first four Mario titles. The $30 package also includes a booklet about Mario’s history and an audio CD full of Mario music.
Originally released on December 12, the game quickly sold out of stores before Christmas, and eBay prices for the game went up to over $80. Since then, the prices have come down to between $50 and $60.
Nintendo says the packaging and contents of the copies of the game will be identical to the ones already released. These will be the final copies of the collection that the company will print, so get while the gettin’ is good.
