Nintendo likes to keep their Virtual Console announcements secret until the minute they’re uploaded to the service, but that doesn’t mean we can’t divine the future. Here’s what’s on deck for the next little while.
NES: Over at the ESRB page, where newly-rated games are displayed for parental guidance, a bunch of new Konami games have been listed. Perhaps the most interesting is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. This will be a landmark release. Why? Not only is it one of the only Virtual Console releases aimed squarely at American audiences (do you think the Japanese give a flip?), it’s also one of the only titles with an external license. Not to mention the fact that the license is currently held by Ubisoft, not Konami, so there’s been some complicated stuff going on behind the scenes to make this happen.
Other NES games on the list include Castlevania, Pac-Man, Galaga, Punch-Out, and Pro Wrestling. No clue as to when these will actually be released, though.
SNES: Gradius III, and the wonderful Zombies Ate My Neighbors. Also, Super Ghouls ‘N Ghosts, but that’s also listed for PS3 and Xbox 360.
N64: Hahaha.
Genesis: Sega just announced that Beyond Oasis, Sonic Spinball, Sword of Vermillion, and Vectorman are on the way at some point.

TurboGrafx:__ Hudson’s put up an info-filled game page for Chew Man Fu, so assume that’s very soon.
